Morgan was born to Pamela Morgan (age 30) Morgan, and Michael Morgan on July 2 1989. Morgan, along with her sisters Jeni and Jeri were raised in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles. Morgan was multisport throughout her childhood, but she began playing soccer at the age of 14. Morgan then became a member of the Cypress Elite club team, winning the Coast Soccer League under-16 championship and finishing in third place in the bracket for under-19 players. Morgan continued to improve her soccer skills while at Diamond Bar High School. National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) chose Morgan as an All-American Athlete.
